Halloween

Thanks to the Crozier family from Utah, who came to stay in Como Ward last year, a new tradition has been introduced - 'Trunk or Treat'. The new concept to us Aussies has been fully embraced and we wonder how we ever lived without it. What fun it is to see little monsters roaming around the chapel carpark, over awed by the amount of delicious goodies in the boot of everyones car. Even I dressed up this year, not sure what or who I was meant to be, just silly.

Lizzie invited her little friend Terrina so it even included a little missionary work :)

Lizzie loves the 'Twilight' series and insisted on being a vampire, it wasn't as glamorous as she hoped it would be.

Josh went as Josh. That can be pretty scarey some times

Ben just celebrated his 6th Birthday the previous weekend and had 3 costumes to choose from. He chose to be Iron man.

The 2 tallest girls Darcy and McKenzie are from the Adams family, and seriously, that is their name. Seems appropriate since their daughter dressed up as cousin 'It'. There is a mysterious pink girl, who obviously heard how cool Como Ward is and came along for the fun. And last but certainly not least, Errol Scott, one of the most awesome primary teachers around.

This is the Bishops daughter, Ariel. If you think she is off colour, you should see his wife.

This is Bishops car. There is his wife, enticing innocent children with Lollies.

And here is Bishops son, Jarom. Looks a little skeletal. No sign of Bishop. Smart man!

The Orupe family had 3 little monsters come along this year. And boy were they monsters. Little Israel up above didn't even need make up to have slimey green stuff coming out of her nose.

By far the most adoreable monster of the night is little Sachin . Who could resist giving him some lollies.

And big brother Yeshaya. Getting lollies is very serious business. No smiles here!

The Margraf Family made you work for your treats. No free rides here! What a great idea.

Jackie, Ethan and Ryan Margraf. What a lovely family photo, I can see that hanging up on the wall :) NOT

Supermans daddy Lorenzo.

Superman has beaten up all the monsters and has this trunk all to himself. I don't know who this lady is, gate crashing from another ward, but the more the merrier.

This is a haunted house, made by the 'Carpenters'. Seriously that is there name, seems kinda funny since they built a house for the night. Anyway, it was a big hit with the kids, having to crawl through a dark, webby house to find a stash of glowsticks and lollies. What more could you ask for?

And who could forget the missionaries Elder Grant and Elder Gerard, going for the very original MIB theme. At least they had yummy Boost bars in their boot.
And that concludes Holloween 2009
